Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site engineering support and resolve technical challenges affecting project delivery.
- Interpret design requirements and apply relevant building-services standards and practices to site execution.
- Review incoming materials, equipment and completed works against approved specifications and quality expectations.
- Coordinate technical drawings and shop-drawing requirements with relevant project parties.
- Plan daily work activities and monitor progress against agreed construction targets.
- Maintain close coordination between main contractor, subcontractors and suppliers to minimise clashes and rework.
- Track material and equipment availability, usage and delivery schedules to prevent disruption to site activities.
- Identify workmanship or material issues early and ensure corrective measures are implemented before defects escalate.
- Participate in client and internal meetings, providing updates on technical matters, progress, quality and site constraints.
- Assist project management with day-to-day execution while introducing practical improvements to installation methods, productivity and resource utilisation
