About the Role
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining technical design, project coordination, client interaction, and problem-solving.
You will work closely with sales engineers, designers, procurement, project teams, and clients to transform project requirements into practical and technically sound solutions.
Fresh graduates with the right engineering background are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales engineering team to develop technical solutions for customer projects.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Support presales activities, tender preparation, quotations, and technical proposals.
- Develop system designs, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Prepare technical documentation based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure the proposed solution can be delivered effectively.
- Engage with clients to understand their technical and project requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to assess site conditions, technical requirements, and potential challenges.
- Provide technical clarification during client meetings, commercial negotiations, and technical discussions.
- Review project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist project teams in resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of relevant working experience preferred.
- Candidates with Project Management experience in the construction industry will have an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for entry-level opportunities.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Willing to work extended hours depending on project requirements.
