Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role supports the finance and accounting team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, preparing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The Account Executive helps with the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements, monitors accounts payable and receivable, and assists with expense tracking and basic financial reporting. The role involves regular use of accounting software, organizing financial documentation, supporting month-end closing activities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial records. The Account Executive is expected to follow established procedures, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a well-organized accounting function.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to understand core accounting principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining ledgers.
  • Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, and support basic financial reporting tasks.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., SQL, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar), with the capacity to learn new systems quickly.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial information.
