They ensure that the company complies with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines to reduce work-related injuries, and ensure the safety of a workplace by developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, and by educating employees on safety protocols:
Job Description
- Develop and implement safety policies: Create plans and procedures that are tailored to the organization's needs
- Conduct safety training: Regularly educate employees on safety protocols
- Monitor compliance: Ensure that safety procedures are being followed
- Investigate accidents: Determine the causes of incidents and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure the company complies with OSHA, federal, and state regulations
- Conduct safety audits: Identify potential hazards and ensure compliance
- Act as a point of contact: Be the go-to person for health and safety issues
- Liaise with authorities: Work with external health and safety authorities as needed
- Prepare reports: Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations
- Oversee repairs: Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and other work that could harm employees' safety
Job Requirement
- Have strong understanding of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate safety information to a variety of audiences.

- Proficiency with safety equipment
- Knowledge of emergency response and first-aid techniques
- Proven 3 - 5 years of experience as certified Safety Coordinator
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin
