Key Responsibilities
1. Balloon Production
- Prepare and produce balloon arrangements based on customer orders and approved product designs.
- Inflate and assemble air-filled and helium balloons according to product specifications.
- Arrange balloons, ribbons, accessories, and decorative elements neatly and securely.
- Produce balloon bouquets, balloon boxes, balloon stands, garlands, and other balloon products as required.
- Follow product samples, visual references, measurements, and production instructions accurately.
- Learn and apply BloomThis balloon production techniques and standards.
2. Customisation & Order Accuracy
- Prepare customised balloon orders, including names, messages, stickers, colours, and accessories.
- Check order details carefully before starting production.
- Ensure the correct design, balloon type, colour, quantity, message, and accessories are used for every order.
- Clarify any unclear or unusual order requirements with the supervisor before production.
3. Quality Control
- Inspect every completed balloon arrangement before packing.
- Ensure balloons are properly inflated, securely attached, clean, and presentable.
- Check for damaged, defective, under-inflated, or poorly arranged balloons and replace them when necessary.
- Ensure the final product matches the approved design and customer order.
- Minimise product defects, rework, and unnecessary balloon wastage.
4. Packing & Order Fulfilment
- Pack completed balloon arrangements safely and appropriately for delivery.
- Ensure completed orders are labelled correctly and matched to the right customer/order.
- Complete assigned orders according to the production schedule and delivery cut-off time.
- Coordinate with the packing, florist, operations, and delivery teams when required.
- Immediately highlight any production issue that may affect order completion or delivery.
5. Inventory & Materials
- Handle balloons, helium, ribbons, accessories, packaging, and other production materials carefully.
- Monitor the availability of frequently used materials.
- Inform the supervisor when materials are running low or damaged.
- Minimise unnecessary material usage and production wastage.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
6. Workplace Standards
- Keep the balloon production area clean, organised, and safe.
- Properly store balloons, tools, accessories, and other materials after use.
- Follow all company safety procedures when handling helium tanks, equipment, and production materials.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the working area.
7. Team & Peak Season Support
- Work closely with the production and operations team to achieve daily fulfilment targets.
- Support other production activities when required.
- Be prepared to work additional hours, weekends, or public holidays during peak periods and major campaigns.
- Maintain productivity and product quality even during high-volume periods.
- Communicate clearly with the supervisor and team regarding production progress, issues, and urgent orders.
What We Are Looking ForRequirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Previous experience in balloon decoration, gift production, event decoration, retail, handicraft, florist, or a similar hands-on role is an advantage.
- Balloon experience is not mandatory – training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Able to follow instructions, product references, and SOPs accurately.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Comfortable working during weekends, public holidays, and peak seasons when required.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
