Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place while cooking under supervision
• To assist senior chefs with basic tasks such as cutting vegetables, boiling stocks, blanching ingredients.
• Preparation, presentation and cooking of food is carried out compliant with the company's SOP, measurements and cooking procedures.
• Maintain hygiene of premises.
• Consistently keeping the kitchen sanitary and clean.
• Responsible for carrying out responsibilities of ‘Cleaning Checklist’ for daily and routined cleaning of the kitchen.
• Support deliveries, handling of ingredients , FIFO and stock management
• Handling all ingredients with care and attention
• Removing raw ingredients from their plastic / containers to be stored in gastro pan or plastic containers belonging to the outlet
• Ensuring labelling (production date, product name) of ALL containers containing fresh or dry ingredients.
• To manage and keep track of stock usage for planning food production.
• Rotation or discarding of older ingredients (FIFO) to practice the highest food and safety standards COMPLETELY avoiding contamination risks.
• Maintain grooming and professionalism.
• Maintaining physical appearance within the operational premises and offsite locations pertaining work related activities in accordance to handbook.
• Maintaining condition of company uniform.
• Work collaboratively across departments.
• Follow SOPs, HACCP and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
