Job Summary

Manage project execution by coordinating site activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in the metal roofing and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender and construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements and deliverables
• Coordinate daily project activities on site to execute the project plan effectively and meet deadlines
• Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure timely completion and adjust plans as needed
• Liaise with authorities to prepare and submit permits and licenses required for project execution
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project implementation
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety objectives
• Attend site meetings and inspections to monitor progress and report findings accurately
• Prepare and submit monthly project status reports to track milestones and issues
• Develop and submit method statements detailing work procedures for approval and safe execution
• Provide regular updates on schedules, manpower, equipment, and resource status to the Project Manager

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in structural, civil, quantity surveying, building services engineering, or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in metal roofing, structural, or construction industry
• Knowledge of local government safety requirements, rules, and regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by managing project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse project participants and report progress clearly
