Teacher – Science (Primary School - International Syllabus IGCSE)

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our Primary School team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum and possess the ability to create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that inspire young learners to develop scientific knowledge, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification/certification is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a school following the Cambridge International Curriculum (Cambridge Primary/IGCSE).
• Experience teaching Science at the Primary School level is preferred.

Teaching and Learning Skills:

1. Knowledge of subject area and experience teaching Cambridge International Curriculum subject - Science

2. Experience with working with students at primary level.

3. Strong evidence of differentiated lesson delivery to students with a wide range of learning needs.

4. Proven experience of managing an effective classroom environment and practical laboratory work to support student learning and positive behaviour while improving student performance and attainment.

5. Proficient in technology integration to enhance the quality the learning experience as well as in the organisation and management of their role.

6. Excellent communication skills and the emotional intelligence to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents alike.

7. Abreast with the latest developments in science teaching and educational learning approaches.

8. Passion for fostering scientific inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Fluency:

Excellent proficiency in the English language is a must. Proficiency in other languages would be welcomed.
