Key Responsibilities:
System Architecture:
Design and develop robust data models and integrated IT systems that consolidate information from diverse sources into a unified technical infrastructure.
Back-End Development:
Build, optimize, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Flask and Python to support high-performance data processing.
Front-End Implementation:
Develop and maintain interactive, responsive user interfaces using React or Angular frameworks to facilitate system interaction and reporting.
Database Engineering:
Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, manage large-scale database performance, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Process Automation:
Architect and implement automated workflows for data collection, system monitoring, and cross-platform integration to enhance operational efficiency.
Integration & Maintenance:
Manage data integration pipelines, including the extraction and migration of data from legacy sources like SAS into modern web environments.
Technical Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional departments to translate business requirements into technical specifications and customized software solutions.
System Optimization:
Continuously assess and refactor codebases and system workflows to reduce technical debt, improve security, and enhance overall system reliability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of solid experience in software development, data integration, and full-stack web application deployment.
Back-End Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Python and the Flask framework; experience with R for automation tasks is a plus.
Front-End Expertise:
Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks, specifically React and Angular.
Database Management:
Advanced skills in Oracle SQL, database schema design, and performance tuning for high-volume data sets.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with SAS environments (SAS Coding) and the ability to integrate SAS data sources into web-based applications.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills with a focus on clean code, documentation, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
