Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end software development, production support, CI/CD implementation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and develop scalable software solutions using Python, .NET, and scripting technologies.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain application functionalities in accordance with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Manage and support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
  • Provide Level 3 (L3) production support, troubleshoot application issues, and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver quality software solutions.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support knowledge bases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in application performance, support processes, and development practices.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and/or Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Experience with Batch Scripting and automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in application troubleshooting, incident management, and production support.
  • Familiarity with software testing, deployment, and release management processes.

Methodology

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working within an SDLC environment.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development and application support (adjust based on your hiring needs).
