Join our client on an upcoming large-scale
mixed development with residential components in Singapore
, with project commencement planned for next year. This is an opportunity to be involved from the
pre-construction and design coordination stage through to project delivery
working alongside established consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Your Role
Support the Project Manager in pre-construction planning, project reporting, documentation and coordination meetings.
Lead and guide a team of Architectural / Design Coordinators in managing architectural works from design coordination through construction.
Liaise closely with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of architectural drawings and details.
Review architectural drawings, specifications and details to identify design discrepancies, constructability issues and potential coordination clashes.
Plan, organise and supervise the preparation and submission of construction drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documents.
Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, ID, landscape and specialist trades.
Provide technical support to the site team and resolve architectural and design issues encountered during construction.
Monitor architectural progress and workmanship on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve architectural defects and outstanding works.
Ensure compliance with URA, BCA, SCDF and other relevant authority requirements, codes of practice and project standards.
The Requirements
Degree in Architecture with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.
Proven experience in residential, mixed-use or large-scale building projects.
Strong knowledge of architectural coordination, construction detailing and technical submissions.
Experience in pre-construction / design coordination will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Singapore authority submission processes and relevant codes of practice.
Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous, independent and able to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
