Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to support procurement operations at our NBL Manufacturing Plant. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted supply of materials, services, and equipment required for plant operations, maintenance, and projects.

The successful candidate will manage procurement activities and contract management in compliance with company procedures, SHE requirements, and quality standards while working closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Negotiation

• Ensure sufficient raw materials/ additives for inbound except Butadiene and Acrylonitrile.
• Demostrate excellent negotiation skills with suppliers/ contractors/ vendors.
• Proactively identifying potential new supplier to widen the source of supply to have bigger range of prices, quality and terms.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing benchmarks.
• Purchasing activities. Complete and maintaining all the purchasing activity within the agreed timeline as per in procurement procedures.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Establish and nurture long-term strategic relationship with key suppliers to ensure consistent performance and supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality standards and responsiveness.
• Organize regular supplier reviews, performance evaluation and improvement plans
• Resolve conflict and address escalations promptly to maintain supply chain integrity.

Contract Management

• Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial negotiation to termination including renewal and amendments.

Compliance

• Ensure that all the purchasing activities are aligned with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and legal requirement.
• Ensure compliance of purchasing processes and raise the awareness on staffs all level as far as procurement foundation are involved.
• Ensure all purchasing documents are well kept in the procurement shared folder/system/email.
• Implement internal controls to prevent fraud, waste and non-compliance.
• Utilized the digital platform for purchasing activities.

Team Management

• Overseeing, mentoring and develop the procurement subordinates (Executive)
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Safety & Environment

• Follow all plant safety and environment regulations and requirement.
• Participate in activities to continuously improve quality performance.
• Participate in department and site safety & environment initiatives.
• To be aware and adhere site HSE & quality policy and procedure, work towards the overall objective of the company including report an incident to superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Business Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within oil and gas / manufacturing or plant environment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing materials, spare parts, services, and contractor sourcing
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience using SAP S4Hana / Ariba or ERP systems is an added advantage
• Able to work in a fast‑paced plant environment with multiple priorities
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
