Job Description
Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our team in the construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and supporting project design and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, develop, and revise detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks
Produce accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation
Develop detailed door, window, and façade drawings based on project specifications
Assist engineers and architects in structural design drafting and technical detailing
Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely submission
Review drawings for compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
Perform drawing revisions and updates based on site conditions and feedback
Maintain proper documentation control and version tracking of all drawings
Support project planning by preparing layout drawings and material take-offs where required
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks is mandatory
Strong experience in shop drawings, as-built drawings, and structural drafting
Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical detailing
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and architectural drawings
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with BIM or other 3D modeling tools is an advantage
Familiarity with local construction regulations and submission requirements
