Job Brief

• Manage and oversee the entire Record to Report (R2R) process and Fixed Assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, bank recon and reconciliations to support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RTR Manager Lead to execute R2R & Fixed Assets activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R function.
• Perform financial data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Supervise and mentor team members within the R2R department.

Requirements and Skills

To excel in a Record to Report role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and R2R / Fixed Assets processes with min 2-3 years of experience in Retail or FMCG related industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
