Role Description The Director of Analytics is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and some flexibility for remote work. This role oversees the design and implementation of analytics strategies to support institutional planning, academic initiatives, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading data collection and analysis efforts, developing dashboards and reports, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and academic departments. The Director will manage analytics projects, guide a team of analysts or data professionals, and ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Collaboration with stakeholders across administration, faculty, and technology teams to promote data literacy and evidence-based decision-making is a key component of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate clear insights.
- Proficiency in data analytics and data analysis tools and techniques, including visualization and reporting platforms.
- Solid foundation in statistics and data science concepts applied to educational or organizational contexts.
- Experience leading analytics or business intelligence initiatives in an academic, public sector, or similar environment.
- Familiarity with database management, data governance, and data privacy best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring teams, managing projects, and setting strategic priorities.
- Advanced degree in data science, statistics, analytics, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Singapore, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration across remote and on-site settings.
