Finance Team Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance team Executive to support the financial operations of our growing multi-outlet F&B business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full-set accounts, month-end closing, outlet sales reconciliation, inventory and cost analysis, cash-flow monitoring, budgeting, statutory compliance and management reporting.

This role requires a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working closely with outlet Operations, Purchasing and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and bank reconciliation.

· Review and reconcile daily sales across multiple outlets.

· Reconcile cash, cards, QR payments, e-wallets and other payment channels.

· Reconcile food delivery platform settlements where applicable.

· Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.

· Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and financial schedules.

· Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.

· Analyse COGS, food cost, gross profit margin, inventory movements and wastage.

· Investigate stock, sales and cost discrepancies with Operations teams.

· Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.

· Perform budget versus actual and outlet profitability analysis.

· Ensure compliance with SST, statutory requirements and applicable e-Invoicing requirements.

· Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant external parties.

· Support internal controls, audit requirements and finance process improvements.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

· 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience for Senior Executive level.

· Strong experience handling full-set accounts and month-end closing.

· Experience in F&B, hospitality, retail or multi-outlet operations is highly preferred.

· Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices, taxation and SST.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

· Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or equivalent.

· Experience with POS systems, inventory reporting and outlet-level financial analysis is an advantage.

· Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
