The Position

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist, Business Operations & Analytics to help build and scale the operational management system of Amplify Health.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will be responsible for establishing the reporting, metrics, governance and operating rhythms that provide leadership with visibility into organisational performance. The role will also lead cross-functional initiatives that improve how the business operates as it continues to scale across multiple markets.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with hands-on execution. They will work across Commercial, Product, Technology, Delivery, Finance, People and Operations teams to identify opportunities, improve processes, implement reporting frameworks and drive operational maturity.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, translating data into action and building scalable operating models within a fast-growing technology organisation.

Responsibilities

1) Operational Analytics & Performance Reporting

Define and manage the key operational metrics that measure business performance and organisational health.

Develop executive dashboards, scorecards and reporting frameworks to support leadership decision-making.

Establish consistent KPI definitions, data standards and reporting governance across functions.

Analyse operational performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.

Partner with Finance, People, Product, Technology and Delivery teams to improve reporting quality and data integrity.

Automate reporting processes and reduce manual effort through scalable reporting solutions.

2) Operational Excellence & Process Development

Design, document and continuously improve business processes across operational functions.

Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and operational risks, implementing improvements that increase scalability and effectiveness.

Develop standards, playbooks and governance frameworks that drive consistency across teams and markets.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality and operational effectiveness.

Support implementation of new operating models, policies and business processes.

3) Cross-Functional Programme Leadership

Lead strategic operational initiatives from planning through execution.

Coordinate stakeholders across multiple business functions to drive alignment and delivery.

Establish project governance, success metrics, milestones and reporting mechanisms.

Monitor progress, manage risks and escalate issues where necessary.

Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes and operational improvements.

4) Executive Decision Support

Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.

Conduct deep-dive analysis into operational performance, workforce productivity, resource utilisation and business outcomes.

Support annual planning, forecasting and strategic business reviews through robust analysis.

Develop business cases to support operational investments and organisational change initiatives.

5) Business Governance & Operating Rhythm

Support and run the organisation's operational review cadence, including KPI reviews and executive reporting.

Track progress against organisational objectives and key business priorities.

Improve visibility, accountability and ownership across operational workstreams.

Continuously evolve the reporting, governance and management frameworks that support organisational growth.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualifications

5-8 years' experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Operational Excellence, Business Intelligence, PMO or Management Consulting.

Experience building operational reporting, performance metrics and executive dashboards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into business insights.

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a technology, SaaS, HealthTech, FinTech or consulting environment.

Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar reporting platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
