Project Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) - plans, coordinates, and oversees mechanical and electrical building systems to ensure projects finish on time and within budget
Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination:
Supervise M&E installation works and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
Drawing & Technical Review:
Check shop drawings, schematics, and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Testing and Commissioning (T&C):
Oversee system testing, equipment inspections, and final project handover.
Problem Solving:
Resolve technical site clashes and interface issues between architectural, structural, and M&E services.
Documentation:
Maintain method statements, material submittals, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in construction or M&E site coordination, Experience in cleanroom environment.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ACMV (air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation), electrical systems, fire protection, and plumbing/sanitary services.
