DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
The Group Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the Group Consolidation for the Group.
DAILY DUTIES
Responsible for the consolidation of accounts for the Group and ensure reporting deadlines were met for monthly financial reporting
Work closely with the regional finance team to ensure all deliverables meet the requirement and expectation for group reporting, including enforcement of appropriate documentation and adherence to internal accounting control
Strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience on full set of accounts
Supervise and lead the local and overseas finance team on accounting operations
Partner closely with subsidiaries finance team for review and analysis of subsidiaries’ monthly management accounts
Preparing of monthly Board meeting reports, annual financial statements including notes to accounts, annual budget and Corporate tax.
Ability to independently handle annual audit matters
Undertake ad hoc assignments
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRE
Possess a degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Possess solid hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial / management reports for a group with multiple functional currency and significant intercompany transactions
Strong eye for details and positive attitude
Willing to work with counterparts in different time zones
Transfer Pricing experience preferred
Good team player with strong interpersonal skill
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
