Koon Seng Hiring! Full Time R-D ASSISTANT MANAGER in Johor - Ricebowl

RESPONSIBILITY :  

1. Design and develop new innovative products to create new market trends and demand, manage product development from lab scale to pilot run. 

1. Conduct R&D study on existing process / products for value-added, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or cost reduction. 

1. Research and development on new and / or alternative raw material (Chemical, Hand Former, etc.) for cost control, plant economies and for the purpose of creating new products / or improving existing products. 

1. Offer technical support on the production process, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, and customer inquiries. 

1. Work closely with Process Lab / Production / QA during mass trial of new product / raw material and provide technical support to achieve the development goals. 

1. Communicate effectively and regularly to reporting superiors on project progress, results and analysis in terms of complete study reports, presentations and meetings. 

1. Ensure all lab equipment is well maintained and utilized properly. 

1. Involving validation on new process / product. 

1. Other job assigned by superior. 

1. Responsible for supporting and assisting in all administrative duties of R&D Laboratory and Process Validation when PD Manager absent. 

1. If she/he is unable to make decision, they may seek guidance from Top Management. 

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Diploma / Degree holder in Science & Chemistry or related field.

2. Strong working experience in research and development or related fields. At least 3 – 5 years' experience in R&D / technical development within latex, nitrile, rubber, or polymer industry.

3. Experience in glove formulation and process / product development is highly preferred.

4. Hands on new development in process / product (new formulation, new material, new process).

5. Experience trouble shooting product issues with Production / QA / Lab.

6. Familiar with laboratory testing method and product testing.

7. Support validation and revalidation process.

8. Strong project management skills including planning, executing and monitoring projects.

9. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Able to read and write BM & English.

10. Able to lead, motivate and manage the team.

11. Strong technical skills, analytical skills and innovation.

12. Experience in an ISO 13485 and GLP will be advantage.

13. Strong reporting, data analysis, and documentation skills.

14. Able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
