About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Executive to join our Commercial Line Claims team, responsible for managing claims assessment, investigation, negotiation, and settlement activities within the assigned authority limits. The role focuses on delivering efficient claims services, ensuring proper claims management, maintaining adequate reserves, and safeguarding the Company’s interests through effective claims handling and recovery efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate, and negotiate claims settlements within the authorization limits provided by the Company.
• Ensure legitimate claims are handled promptly, fairly, and cost-effectively while maintaining appropriate claims reserves.
• Provide efficient claims services to claimants and intermediaries while upholding MSIG’s claims service standards and customer service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BNM policy documents and guidelines, MSIG policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure suspicious and/or fraudulent claims are escalated and investigated thoroughly, minimize claims leakages, and pursue Company and Reinsurance (RI) recoveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma, Certificate, or Degree holder.
• Preferably with a relevant educational background.
• Adequate knowledge and understanding of Underwriting and/or Claims.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

• Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Adequate negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused and result-oriented.
