Job Description

Responsibilities

*** This is a full-time position offered on a 2-year employment contract, with the possibility of renewal/extension based on performance and organisational needs.

This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of assigned clinical departments and managing resources to ensure an efficient, personalized service in apleasant and comfortable environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

1. Partner and support the designated Head of Department (HOD) of Clinical Departmentsfor the development and operational management of clinical services throughout the care continuum. This collaboration will include on identifying and driving opportunities for the growth of both new and existing clinical services.

2. Joint accountability with Chair of Clinical Division and Heads of Clinical Departments in meeting business, financial and operational performance indicators of the department. This would include, but not limited to, patient workload in various care settings, Financial Performance, SOC appointment lead time and surgical lead time (if applicable) and any relevant operational patient care outcomes.

3. Support clinical transformation efforts including improving access for better outcomes (early detection/timely intervention), optimising value-based care outcomes, and increasing market share through progressive reduction of out-of-network (OON) referrals.

4. Support the development of clinical projects by conducting change management and partnering stakeholders to achieve common action plans.

5. Drive the development of the Cancer Care ecosystem across NHG Health, supporting cancer-related service development and implementation across PHI sites to serve the Central North population.

6. Develop and execute business plan and marketing strategies to improve workload identified for growth to meet organizational and population needs.

7. Work closely with stakeholders on the purchase of medical equipment/ equipment to support clinical services of the department.

8. Support in data management and analysis of performance indicators.

(B) GENERAL

1. Be aleader in embracing change.

2. Align the department's goals with the business goals of the hospital

3. Support all corporate activities during and after office hours.

4. Foster continuous improvement as our way of life by encouraging staff efforts at improving processes to achieve operational excellence.

5. Perform any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer

JOBREQUIREMENTS

(A)EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degreein any discipline.
  • 1-5years relevant working experience in service industry/ health-care related areas.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player who can collaborate well and work efficiently under tight deadlinesin a fast-paced dynamic environment, and able to manage projects independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen eye for details.
  • Self-motivatedand driven, enthusiatics about learning on the job and see things through.
  • Methodical and precise, with strong skills in project management, time management, and numerical proficiency
(B)SPECIALISED TRAINING

  • Knowledge of computer software.
  • Knowledge of statistics.
