Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is detail-oriented, commercially aware and responsible for managing project costs from initial estimation through to project completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BQ, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and project budgets.
• Source, compare and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender/quotation documents and subcontractor comparison sheets.
• Monitor project costs, variations, progress claims and payments.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies, omissions and cost implications.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and work progress.
• Maintain proper costing, quotation and project documentation.
• Work closely with the design and site teams to ensure effective cost control.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to read construction/architectural drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organised and analytical.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Experience in residential construction/renovation is an advantage.
