About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Officer to manage our day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support overall financial health and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record day-to-day financial transactions, journal entries, and general ledger accounts

• Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, client billing, and payment follow-ups to maintain healthy cash flow

• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure complete accuracy across all financial statements

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)

• Assist in auditing internal financial controls and implementing streamlined workflows

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

• Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs)

• Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical skills, organization, and clear written/verbal communication
