About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join Aveta Global Marketing Sdn Bhd in Bukit Raja, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in optimising our manufacturing operations and ensuring efficient production scheduling. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met whilst maintaining quality standards and minimising costs. This role is essential to the success of our operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity

• Coordinating with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on production timelines and resource allocation

• Monitoring production progress and identifying potential bottlenecks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed

• Analysing capacity constraints and recommending process improvements to optimise production efficiency

• Managing inventory levels and raw material requirements to support production schedules

• Preparing production reports and performance metrics to track key production indicators

• Collaborating with quality assurance to ensure that production schedules align with quality requirements

• Updating production plans in response to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or operational challenges

• Supporting the production team with documentation and scheduling tools to enhance operational effectiveness

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Proven experience of 2-4 years working as a Production Planner or in a similar production planning and scheduling role

• Strong proficiency with production planning software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and demand forecasting principles

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple departments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Bahasa Malaysia) is an advantage
