Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Location: KL, Malaysia

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, Ansible, Linux administration, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, monitoring, and operational processes across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement infrastructure automation using Ansible across Linux and Windows environments.
Develop and maintain reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, workflows, and automation jobs.
Work with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) including workflows, RBAC, and credential management.
Automate Day-2 operations such as patching, configuration management, monitoring, backup, and remediation.
Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Develop automation for self-healing and auto-remediation to improve system reliability.
Maintain infrastructure code in Git/version-controlled repositories.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
Ensure automated processes follow security, compliance, and operational standards.
Collaborate with Cloud, Security, and Operations teams on automation initiatives.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and continuously improve automation solutions.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in infrastructure automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Linux administration.
Experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
Experience with VM provisioning, system hardening, patching, monitoring, and remediation.
Proficiency in Python, Shell, or PowerShell scripting.
Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or container orchestration.
Knowledge of GitOps.
Experience with Grafana, ELK, or other observability tools.
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks such as CIS.
Exposure to AIOps, AI-driven automation, or ChatOps.
