Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure marine, shipyard and offshore works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Inspect materials, fabrication, installation and completed works.
Review drawings, specifications, inspection requirements and quality procedures.
Coordinate inspections and testing with clients, consultants and relevant parties.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records and documentation.
Identify quality issues, non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
Monitor welding, fabrication, installation and workmanship quality.
Assist in preparing and implementing Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and quality procedures.
Support project teams in resolving quality-related issues and ensure timely rectification.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and project requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
2–5 years of relevant QC/QA experience in marine, shipyard or offshore projects preferred.
Good knowledge of marine fabrication, welding, installation and inspection processes.
Familiar with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), quality documentation and non-conformance procedures.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of relevant marine/engineering standards and welding requirements is an advantage.
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate quality records.
Willing to work in shipyard, marine or offshore environments when required.
