Key Responsibilities

• Build reports using AI tooling. Write clear, well-structured prompts in Claude Code, connected to Alumetrics, to generate and refine reports requested by departments across both sites.
• Verify every output before it is issued. Check generated figures against source records in Alumetrics — a report that looks correct but reads the wrong data is worse than no report at all.
• Gather requirements from the team. Sit with the requester, understand what decision the report supports, and confirm the output answers that question.
• Maintain the existing report library. Keep current reports working as the system evolves, and correct them when data or requirements change.
• Document what is built. Maintain a simple record of each report — its purpose, data sources, and the prompts used — so the work is repeatable by others.
• Support the wider IIoT function. Assist with data checks, user training, ticket handling, and general IT support tasks as required.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Data, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Working knowledge of SQL, or clear evidence of the ability to learn it quickly
• Comfortable working with AI tools and willing to learn structured prompting properly
• Strong attention to detail and the discipline to verify figures rather than assume them
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work with colleagues on the shop floor and in the office

Advantageous

• Exposure to Python, JavaScript, or any scripting language
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or another relational database
• Experience with reporting or dashboard tools
• Understanding of manufacturing terms such as work orders, delivery orders, and inventory
• Prior use of Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
