Job Summary
The Resident Technical Officer supports the Consultant (Architect) by supervising structural construction works for HDB upgrading projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and assisting consultants throughout the construction period.
Responsibilities
Supervise the construction of structural works to ensure compliance with the Building Control Act and project specifications
Collaborate with the Consultant (Architect), Consultant (Civil & Structural Engineer), and Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer) to provide technical assistance during construction
Manage interactions with residents during upgrading works to address concerns and facilitate smooth project progress
Perform basic data entry tasks to maintain accurate records related to construction activities and project documentation
Maintain competency in safety management by attending annual safety-related courses accredited by the Ministry of Manpower or equivalent training providers
Required competencies and certifications
Possess the National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS), the Supervise Construction Work for WSH (SCWWSH), the Design for Safety for PMEs, or equivalent
Complete annual safety-related courses accredited by MOM or equivalent to maintain safety management competency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in upgrading works and managing resident relations during construction projects
