Job Title: Project Manager (Curtain Wall / Façade Projects)

Location: Singapore

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of curtain wall, façade, and steel/aluminium structure projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project management, including planning, execution, quality, safety, cost control, contractual administration, stakeholder coordination, and project completion.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in façade engineering, hands-on site management experience, and a proven track record in delivering complex and large-scale curtain wall projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for project delivery, including schedule, quality, safety, cost control, productivity, and contract compliance.

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

• Lead project teams and supervise engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review engineering designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements (MOS), and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities.

• Represent the company at project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical and operational issues.

• Manage variation orders, claims, project valuations, progress payments, and contractual matters in accordance with project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.

• Oversee project completion, final account settlement, handover, defect rectification, and payment collection.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors, labour suppliers, and industry partners to support project execution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in curtain wall, façade, steel structure, or related construction projects in Singapore.

• Technical background in façade engineering, with the ability to review structural calculations and technical designs.

• Proven experience in complex façade projects, including irregular-shaped, freeform, or double-curved façade systems.

• Experience delivering large-scale curtain wall projects and landmark building developments will be highly advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of curtain wall construction methods, site operations, material management, quality control, safety management, and project cost control.

• Familiarity with project contracts, variation orders, claims management, progress claims, and final account settlement.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to independently prepare technical documentation, method statements, project reports, and project correspondence.

• Good command of English for communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• WSH Management in Construction Industry (WSHMCI) certification.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Specialist Diploma in Construction Management (SDCM) or equivalent BCA-recognised qualifications.

• APM, CPAS, or other relevant project management and construction-related certifications.

• Existing network of local subcontractors, labour resources, and project support personnel will be an advantage.

• Proven ability to build and manage project teams, including engineering, commercial, and safety functions.
