We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our frontline team and share their love for tech with our customers.

The Role As our Retail Sales Representative, you will be the face of Brightstar Computer. You will greet customers, understand their computing needs, and recommend the best hardware or software solutions. Whether a customer is building their first gaming rig or upgrading an office laptop, you will provide expert advice and a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing excellent service and expert advice on PC components, laptops, and accessories.

• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate hardware builds, upgrades, or pre-built systems to close sales.

• Achieve or exceed monthly individual and store sales targets.

• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS (Point of Sale) system.

• Assist with store operations, including stock taking, replenishing inventory on shelves, and maintaining a clean, attractive showroom display.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, brand releases, and competitor pricing to confidently answer customer inquiries.

Skills & Experience:

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar frontline role.

• Strong knowledge of or personal interest in computer hardware, gaming PCs, and the latest tech gadgets is highly required.

• Friendly, approachable, and confident in speaking with customers.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin or other local dialects is a strong advantage).

• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays on a shift basis.
