Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements analysis, process improvement, stakeholder management, and translating business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Perform impact analysis for new requirements and system changes.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, solution architects, and project managers throughout the SDLC.
• Define acceptance criteria and support development teams in understanding requirements.
• Coordinate and support UAT with business users.
• Validate delivered solutions against agreed business requirements.
• Identify gaps between current and proposed processes and recommend suitable solutions.
• Support change management and implementation activities.
• Prepare requirement documentation, process diagrams, and solution-related documentation.
• Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure proper traceability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and business process analysis.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong experience preparing:
• BRD / FRD
• User Stories
• Use Cases
• Process Flows
• Functional Specifications
• Acceptance Criteria
• Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of software applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Niche / Preferred Skills

• Experience with API and system integration requirements.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and data flows.
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Experience creating process flows using Visio, *************, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Exposure to cloud, digital transformation, AI, automation, or enterprise applications is an advantage.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in process optimisation and solution analysis.
