What You Will Do


At SPL, you are an integral part of our team - driving meaningful projects and witnessing the tangible difference your work makes. As an Assistant Manager, Project Management & Transformation, you will support the successful delivery of strategic projects and business transformation initiatives across the organisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to drive project execution, facilitate Agile delivery, and ensure operational readiness.


Key Tasks You Will Be Involved In


1. Project Delivery & Coordination

  • Manage project timelines, scope, risks, dependencies, and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate across business, product, technology, and vendor teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track project progress and drive follow-up actions to achieve key milestones.


2. Agile Delivery Support

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Promote team collaboration, alignment, and continuous improvement.


3. Systems & Integration Management

  • Coordinate system integrations, technical dependencies, and impact assessments.
  • Support feasibility reviews, issue resolution, and operational readiness planning.


4. Governance & Reporting

  • Consolidate project updates, risks, action items, and management reports.
  • Support project governance and escalate critical issues when required.


5.Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Partner with internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations, dependencies, and decision-making processes.


6. Deployment & Incident Management

  • Support deployment planning, release activities, testing validation, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Coordinate issue resolution, incident management, and service recovery efforts.


7. Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain project documentation and governance artefacts.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices across project delivery.

This role might be for you if you have:

  • Training in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, vendor management, or IT/business systems delivery.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, technical dependencies, and operational processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting, documentation, and meeting facilitation.
