IT Project Manager (Finance & Tax Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver Finance and Tax Systems initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing end-to-end technology projects involving financial applications, tax platforms, ERP integrations, and regulatory compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live support.
• Lead finance and tax technology projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, tax teams, vendors, and technical teams to define requirements and project objectives.
• Drive system enhancements, integrations, data migration, testing, and user adoption activities.
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions comply with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 12+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven experience delivering Finance, Tax, ERP, or Financial Systems projects.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, taxation systems, and system integration methodologies.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or related project management certifications are advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Finance transformation projects.
• Tax reporting, GST/VAT systems, e-Invoicing, or regulatory compliance solutions.
• ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial systems.
