Job Summary
This role requires a highly self-motivated and organized individual to prepare detailed engineering drawings, collaborate with project teams and clients, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations throughout the drafting process.
Responsibilities
Produce accurate technical 2D and 3D drawings including part drawings, assembly drawings, combined services drawings, and shopfloor drawings to support engineering design
Collaborate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and clients to revise and amend drawings based on project requirements
Ensure all drawing creation, amendments, transmittals, recording, and disposal comply with statutory regulations and company standards
Maintain detailed documentation by organizing and managing electronic and hard copy files, ensuring version control and tracking revisions and updates to drawings
Conduct site surveys to take precise measurements and translate these into detailed drawings for project use
Prepare necessary design calculations to support engineering drawings and project specifications
Assist project teams with project planning and deployment activities to ensure smooth execution of drafting tasks
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support project and team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Inventor and Autodesk Revit for producing technical drawings
Ability to communicate and write effectively in English
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Projects to enhance drafting and project management efficiency
Experience in project management to support planning and deployment activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail
1 year of relevant working experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
