Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
- Must have experience with
- Strong procurement skills with the ability to source materials at competitive and cost-effective prices.
- Able to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Evaluate tenders, prepare tender documents, and quotations for projects.
- Procure and coordinate the purchase of materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare project budgets, cost reports and financial projections, and monitor project costs and cash flow.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims for construction progress, VOs and final accounts, ensuring timely and complete submission for payment.
- Administer contracts and assess contract variations, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, liquidated damages and other contractual matters.
- Compile, check, certify and confirm contractors’ invoices to ensure accuracy with the Purchase Order/ Works Order.
- Review project specifications and provide cost and contractual recommendations.
- Evaluation and certificate of sub-contractors' progress payments.
- Obtain insurances required for project
- Manage and maintain correspondence between all consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and related parties.
- And any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
