A. Purpose and Scope

• This job description defines the scope of duty, responsibilities and expected knowledge for Lab Technician.

B. Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities

• To ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) are in place.
• To carry out Ion-Chromatography Test according to established method and requirements.
• To carry out Liquid Particle Count Test and Air Particle Count Test according to established method and requirements.
• To carry out Electrostatic Discharge Test according to established method and requirements.
• To analyze measurement data for identifying abnormalities and trends.
• To ensure the testing records are properly maintained.
• To take care and maintain the equipment in good and functional condition.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the work place.
• Support lab operation whenever there is shortage of manpower.
• Other assigned duties as required.

C. Job Requirements

• Prefer Diploma Level and above (background Chemistry related).
• Experience working in related industry / environment (advantages if know to test for Liquid Particle Count or Ion-Chromatography test).
• Knowledge in basic inspection and test procedure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
