Job Summary

Support the drafting, review, and administration of insurance and reinsurance contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and update reinsurance contractual documents using standard templates and guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain consistency, completeness, and accuracy across all contractual deliverables to support operational effectiveness
• Provide contractual advice and operational support to underwriting and sales teams to facilitate preparation of contractual documents
• Ensure all submitted documentation complies with internal standards and applicable regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
• Identify and promptly escalate deviations from standard templates or regulatory concerns to senior team members
• Assist with legal transfers including novation agreements and basic contractual negotiations under supervision to support contract lifecycle management
• Maintain proper documentation, record-keeping, and traceability throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure audit readiness
• Support continuous improvements in contract management processes including validation, documentation, archiving, and reporting preparation to enhance efficiency
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements in all contractual activities to maintain compliance
• Identify basic contractual risks or issues and escalate them to senior team members or Global Team Leader for resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Law, Insurance Law, Business Law, or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Initial experience or internship in insurance, legal, or contract management preferred but not mandatory
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of insurance and/or reinsurance contracts preferred but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of contract structures, clauses, and documentation standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing contractual documents
• Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple contract tasks efficiently
• Ability to follow processes and guidelines consistently
• Team player with effective communication skills to collaborate across teams
