Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance, including troubleshooting breakdowns, coordinating machine shutdowns, and ensuring timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment and spare parts, including technician deployment, overtime arrangements, and work prioritization during multiple breakdowns or manpower shortages.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and electrical installations are carried out according to plan, specifications, applicable electrical regulations, and company requirements.
• Lead, guide and train technicians to enhance technical competency, work quality, safety awareness, and overall maintenance performance.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and external work, including machinery inspections, site visits, installations, and maintenance activities at external locations or customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, food safety and company requirements, and promptly escalate major breakdowns or technical issues to the appropriate superior. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Cert/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates with a Chargeman Certificate A0/A1 will have an added advantage.
• Possession of own transportation and willing to work in Seberang Perai, Penang.
