Job Summary

Manage and maintain industrial automation systems to ensure reliable plant operations. Perform inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordinate contractors to support continuous production and system improvements.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain industrial automation and control systems, including PLC, DCS, and SCADA, to ensure optimal plant performance

Conduct routine functional inspections and perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automation and control equipment to minimize downtime

Diagnose system faults and implement corrective actions to maintain reliable operations

Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, equipment and maintenance records, and safety procedures for compliance and operational efficiency

Maintain accurate and complete technical and equipment archives to support maintenance and audit requirements

Coordinate and manage maintenance contractors by obtaining quotations, monitoring service activities, maintaining records, and updating contract management systems to ensure quality service delivery

Prepare and maintain spare parts records and inventory ledgers, tracking stock movements to ensure accurate inventory management

Provide technical support for IT-related systems and equipment as needed to support plant operations

Assist with automation and control system improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and other technical assignments to enhance system performance

Perform additional duties and ad-hoc assignments as directed by supervisors or management to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience with SCADA, industrial control systems, and troubleshooting to enhance system reliability

Knowledge of preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis within industrial automation systems

Strong technical documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills to support maintenance and operational teams

Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless maintenance activities

Willingness to support plant maintenance activities and respond promptly to operational requirements
