About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Solution Architecture to lead technical solution design and client engagement for global AI data center and energy optimization initiatives.

Based in Singapore, this role will work closely with global hyperscalers, data center operators, AI cloud providers, and senior technology stakeholders to design end-to-end solutions leveraging our proprietary Physical AI (PhyAI) Engine.

This is a Director-level Individual Contributor role with no direct reports. The position requires strong technical depth, commercial awareness, executive communication skills, and the ability to independently lead complex global engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Solution Design

• Lead end-to-end technical solution design for global hyperscalers, data center operators, and AI cloud providers.
• Drive requirement discovery, solution architecture, POC demonstrations, technical proposals, and technical negotiations.
• Develop tailored grid-to-chip energy optimization solutions leveraging the proprietary PhyAI Engine.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable and commercially viable technical solutions.

2. Technical Client Engagement

• Serve as the primary technical interface for senior client stakeholders, including CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of Technology.
• Lead complex technical discussions and negotiations with customers and partners.
• Engage directly with Data Center Operations, Design, Engineering, and hyperscaler technical teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of BMS and DCIM operational logic and their integration across power, cooling, fire protection, and monitoring systems.
• Identify opportunities for PhyAI integration and define appropriate technical integration pathways.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product, R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Act as the technical voice of overseas markets by gathering customer requirements, market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive insights.
• Translate market feedback into actionable recommendations for product and platform development.
• Support continuous improvement and iteration of the PhyAI platform.

4. Global Client & Project Support

• Lead and support technical engagements across APAC, the Middle East, and North America.
• Participate in on-site customer meetings, technical workshops, solution discussions, and project activities.
• Work effectively across different time zones, cultures, and business environments.
• Independently manage multiple complex technical engagements in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

5. Technical & Brand Representation

• Represent the company as a technical leader in customer engagements and industry forums.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on industry events, technical seminars, workshops, and other external activities.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and thought-leadership materials for customers and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Energy Engineering, HVAC, or a related STEM discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, technology consulting, or a related technical client-facing role.
• At least 3 years of hands-on pre-sales solution design experience in data centers, AI infrastructure, or industrial energy efficiency.
• Proven experience independently leading complex technical projects and presenting solutions to senior client executives.
• Experience working with hyperscalers, data center operators, AI cloud providers, or other large-scale technology infrastructure organizations is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of data center power architecture, including UPS, HVDC, and redundancy configurations such as N, N+1, and 2N.
• Strong understanding of data center cooling architecture, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems.
• Practical knowledge of BMS and DCIM principles and integration.
• Familiarity with power, cooling, fire protection, monitoring, and other critical data center infrastructure systems.
• Good understanding of PUE and DCiE and data center energy optimization.
• Familiarity with AI compute infrastructure, including GPU clusters, HPC, and AI factories.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA GPU ecosystems such as DGX, HGX, Blackwell, and Vera Rubin is a plus.
• Knowledge of Physical AI, Industrial AI, or AI-driven energy optimization is a plus.
• Strong ability to develop business-grade technical presentations, proposals, and solution documentation.

Language & Other Requirements

• Fluent English and Mandarin are required, with the ability to conduct technical discussions with C-level stakeholders and collaborate effectively with China-based R&D teams.
• Additional Asian languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, technical negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally across APAC, the Middle East, and North America.
