Job Title: Hadoop Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Hadoop Developer with 6–9 years of experience in Murex Market Risk to support the configuration, analysis, enhancement, and maintenance of market risk functionalities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Value at Risk (VaR), EWRS, sensitivities, stress testing, and MRA/MRE configuration. The role will involve working closely with risk, technology, and business teams to ensure effective implementation and support of Murex market risk solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, configure, and support Murex Market Risk functionalities and processes.
• Configure and maintain Murex Risk Analysis (MRA) and Market Risk Engine (MRE) components.
• Work on Value at Risk (VaR) calculations, methodologies, configurations, and reporting.
• Support EWRS (Early Warning Risk System) configuration and related risk monitoring processes.
• Configure and analyze risk sensitivities and ensure accurate calculation and reporting.
• Support stress testing scenarios, configurations, and results analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within the Murex Market Risk platform.

Required Skills:

• 6–9 years of experience working with Murex, preferably in Market Risk.
• Strong hands-on experience with Murex Market Risk modules and functionality.
• Strong knowledge of Value at Risk (VaR).
• Hands-on experience with EWRS.
• Strong understanding and experience with risk sensitivities.
• Hands-on experience in stress testing configuration and analysis.
• Strong experience with MRA/MRE configuration.
• Good understanding of market risk concepts, calculations, and reporting.
• Strong SQL Server skills, preferably SQL Server 2012.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012 environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience supporting Murex implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Knowledge of Murex market risk reporting and downstream risk systems.
• Experience with Murex integration and data flows.
• Knowledge of financial markets, risk management, and regulatory risk requirements.
• Experience in production support and incident management within banking or financial services environments.
• Exposure to Murex development, scripting, or automation.
