About the role

Developer role involving analysis, development, enhancement, debugging, support, maintenance, and testing of applications. The primary work comprises requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, unit testing, SIT, UAT support, production deployment, post-implementation support, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test applications

• Perform requirement analysis, mapping design, and technical specification

• Programming and code review

• Job scheduling and perform unit test and SIT

• Support UAT users and deploy to production

• Provide post-implementation support and technical documentation

• Work on specific projects and support the Application Delivery Manager in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end

• Perform coding, scripting, and build new systems where necessary

• Provide environment support during SIT/UAT for new system build-up

• Ensure work is adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover

• Work with senior developers and system architects in formulating technical solutions that satisfy security, regulatory, and architectural standards

About you

• 4+ years relevant experience as AS400 developer

• Experience with RPGLE, CLLE, and ALDON

• Experienced developer with good experience in system integration/interfacing
