Job Description & Requirements:

An architectural draughtsman turns an architect's rough design ideas into exact technical drawings and blueprints. They act as the bridge between creative design and real construction. Their drawings include all measurements, materials, and safety codes needed to build a structure.
Drafting Plans: Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like AutoCAD or Revit to draw detailed 2D and 3D models. Think of CAD as a digital drawing board that lets you make quick, perfect changes.

Checking Rules: Make sure all plans follow local building codes and safety regulations.

Working with Teams: Talk with architects, engineers, and builders to fix problems on paper before building starts.

Site Visits: Visit construction sites to take measurements and ensure builders follow the correct plans.

Revising Drawings: Update blueprints based on changes made by clients or the construction team.
