Seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of Java/J2EE development and strong Big Data expertise. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-grade cash management solutions, building scalable applications using Spark/Flink/Storm, Kafka, HBase, Elasticsearch, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, performance tuning, production support, and code quality tools is essential.

Role Scope

Senior Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting large-scale enterprise cash management applications with a strong focus on Big Data technologies. The role requires expertise in Java 8+, Spark/Flink/Storm, Kafka, HBase, Elasticsearch, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Cloud (AWS/GCP), and DevOps practices. Responsibilities include solution design, performance optimization, code reviews, production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Candidates should have experience building high-performance distributed systems, strong analytical skills, and preferably exposure to corporate banking or financial services.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java and Big Data applications.
• Analyze functional specifications and provide technical solutions.
• Develop scalable, high-quality solutions following coding standards and best practices.
• Estimate development effort and participate in solution design.
• Implement applications using TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Perform code reviews, design reviews, and performance optimization.
• Conduct non-functional testing and support UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 application support.
• Prepare technical design and implementation documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Tech Leads, and developers in an Agile environment.

  Key Requirements
  
  
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Microservices, and Web Services.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Storm.
  • Proficiency in Kafka, IBM MQ, HBase, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and GitLab.
  • Experience with JUnit, Cucumber, SonarQube, Jira, and code quality practices.
  • Knowledge of Kibana, ELK Stack, and Spark UI for monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and end-to-end software development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Exposure to corporate banking or cash management systems is an added advantage.
