Responsibilities

Please note that the work schedule for this position is 5.5 days/week.


Job Description:

  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, monitoring and optimization of Security, ICT Infrastructure and ELV systems within mission-critical data centre facilities.
  • Ensure all systems remain fully operational, secure and compliant with customer, regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Support preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities for electronic security systems, ICT network infrastructure and building ELV systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors and stakeholders on maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, commissioning and project implementation.
  • Lead control bench tests , SAT, IST activities for security, ELV and ICT infrastructure with vendors and contractors
  • Support incident management, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and operational resilience.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, integrated system testing and emergency response activities.


Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security systems, integrated building systems, critical facilities, data centres or facilities management environments.
  • Experience in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security and monitoring systems.
  • Data Centre experience will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems and Security Management Systems (SMS).
  • Experience with Security Control Panels and integrated monitoring platforms.
  • Working knowledge of ICT Infrastructure, including network switches, structured cabling systems, fibre optic cabling, patch panels and communication networks.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN connectivity and network device troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of ELV systems including Access Control System (ACS), CCTV System, Security Management System (SMS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Public Address (PA) System, Intercom System, Structured Cabling System (SCS)
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and integrated monitoring platforms.
  • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, network architecture drawings, wiring schematics and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing contractors, integrators and technology vendors.
  • Understanding of security requirements and operational risks in mission-critical facilities.
  • Appreciation of data centre operational standards, uptime requirements and customer expectations.
  • Support compliance with corporate security policies, operational procedures and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives relating to security system reliability, efficiency and resilience.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with ENGIE safety and operational standards.
