• Consulting managers and clients about design requirements
• Clarifying and solving design issues to meet deadline
• Researching users’ needs and make proposal to manager for his approval
• Investigating appropriate materials and production processes to manager
• Producing sketches, sample designs and prototypes for the manager to approve
• Testing product designs using specialist computer software and computer-aided design (CAD) technology for manager to comment and approve
• Maintaining an awareness of current design trends and influences
• Liaising with sales, marketing and production departments for any suggestions, ideas & improvement
• Immediately make correction on product faulty and prepare technical report on the failure to avoid the same mistake in future
• All designs of product need to get prior approval from superior before production process
• All design procedure must be completed within the timeframe
• Presenting designs, samples and final work to customers for evaluation
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior

Requirements

• Experience in industrial/product design, engineering design, manufacturing, fabrication, or oil & gas would be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to interpret technical specifications and translate requirements into practical designs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
