Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful execution of engineering projects within the Oil & Gas and related industries. The successful candidate will assist in project planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing project execution activities.
- Support project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, and subcontractors on project-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, action registers, and project updates.
- Review project documents and deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain project registers, trackers, and records for effective project control and monitoring.
- Participate in project meetings and technical discussions, documenting key decisions and follow-up actions.
- Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and potential schedule impacts, and support mitigation activities.
- Support compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or other relevant engineering disciplines) from a recognized university.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Oleochemical, or related industries will have an added advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of project coordination, document control, QA/QC, and multi-discipline engineering activities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and develop professionally.
