General Ledger Executive

Working Location: Sentul, KL

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of General Ledger (GL) accounting activities.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and ensure proper account coding.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management and financial reports.
• Review and analyse GL accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support preparation of audit schedules and provide information to auditors.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and other financial analysis when required.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Support process improvement and other finance-related projects as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant GL/accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in month-end closing, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
