We are looking for a detail-oriented FPI Technician to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection on aircraft engine components and ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on aircraft engine components according to process travellers and operation sheets.
Review test orders to identify required test methods, procedures and acceptance criteria.
Prepare components for inspection by applying cleaners, penetrants, developers and other required agents.
Inspect parts to identify and assess surface discontinuities.
Follow approved NDT procedures, work instructions and quality requirements.
Maintain accurate inspection records and production documentation.
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and on equipment.
Comply with company, quality and workplace safety requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
GCE O-Level / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience in NDT, FPI, inspection or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
Able to read and understand process travellers, operation sheets and technical instructions.
Strong attention to detail and good visual inspection skills.
Able to follow procedures accurately and work independently.
Safety-conscious, disciplined and quality-oriented.
Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
